We seek a Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet. This role will be based out of our Headquarters in Boulder, Colorado.

As a key team member, you'll be responsible for supporting the CEO and executive team, and collaborating with our other Executive Assistant and Office Management staff to ensure a professional, productive, and supportive office environment.  

You must be a highly-skilled, hands-on problem solver who enjoys being on a collaborative team. You will also need to be a self-starter, and a proficient communicator, and maintain the highest levels of integrity and discretion. You should be effective and comfortable engaging with and on behalf of executives and interacting with leaders and their staff outside of Uplight.

What you will contribute: 

  • Ensure the effectiveness of the C-suite by attending meetings, taking minute notes, capturing action items, and ensuring follow-up and proper governance. 
  • Manage CEO’s internal and external communications, including correspondence with investors, Board members, and key clients
  • Create and maintain Google and MS Office files as needed for the CEO
  • Develop strong relationships across the organization to align strategic priorities, organize work, and drive successful outcomes
  • Create processes and systems to scale your work; proactively develop methods and documentation for how to get things done and drive efficiency
  • Work to keep the CEO well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Anticipate CEO's needs in advance of meetings, conferences, eliminating schedule conflicts etc.
  • Schedule, coordinate, facilitate, and host executive-sponsored virtual and in-person meetings and events
  • Organize travel; own logistics for executive travel, including booking flights, accommodations, etc.
  • Assist our Executive Assistant and Office Management staff as needed as part of a collaborative team 
  • Ability to travel on occasion up to 10% of the time
  • Work out of our Headquarters in Boulder, Colorado with the occasional weekend hours

What you bring to Uplight: 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work with minimal direction and juggle multiple demands simultaneously 
  • Must be a phenomenal communicator able to convey the CEO’s desired message and demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and integrity
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Project management expertise 
  • The highest levels of integrity, ethics, and discretion
  • Experience working directly with and supporting executives, including board members and their executive assistants 
  • An experienced power user in both the GSuite and Microsoft Office 
  • Coordinate and schedule regular onsite and offsite meetings between the CEO, advisors, and members of the leadership team
  • Proactive mindset - this role must anticipate needs as well as respond to them
  • A minimum of 10 years of direct executive assistant experience

Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000 

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
