Opportunity Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join Upland India as a Product Owner for our Upland Rant and Rave product. You should have an overall industry experience of 3-5 years as a Business Analyst / Product Owner delivering technology enabled solutions. Prior experience in the consumer feedback industry will be an advantage.
What would you do?
- Identify and manage existing and emerging risks from business activities and job role
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
- Facilitate the analysis and design of technology solutions supporting delivery functions to ensure business needs are met
- Drive the gathering of requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, surveys, business process analysis, use cases scenarios, task inquiry and workflow analyses
- Participate in analysis and verification of requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformance to standards
- Translate requirements from Product Managers into epics and stories for the team with clear criteria around acceptance and behavior
- Facilitate traceability of approved and base lined artifacts throughout the solution development life cycle to include specifications, design, development, testing, implementation, and defect prioritization
- Collaborate with quality assurance resources and subject matter experts to establish the testing approach including usability and performance needs
- Assist quality assurance leads with the planning and review of test artifacts
- Collaborate with other Product team members across Upland and adopt / contribute to best practices on product development
- Facilitate clarification and active participation in defect management activities to confirm requirements and SLAs are being met
- Manages change control activities for affected system artifacts
- Manage the agile development process including standups, sprint planning, and refinement.

- 3 - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Product Owner delivering technology enabled solutions.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills directed to technical and non-technical team members

- Ability to work under remote supervision and with a minimum of direct oversight
Qualification
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
This role requires overlap with multiple time zones for planning meetings, status updates etc. on a regular basis. The duration of these overlaps can change depending on the type of meeting.
