Reporting to the Director of Streaming, this role will oversee all aspects of our YouTube strategy, content and account management for UMC.  The person who holds this position is both highly analytical and incredibly creative in their approach to strategic audience growth and consumption on the platform. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, reliable and dedicated.  Above all, we are looking for someone enthusiastic and energetic, that strives to produce great work!



  • Work cross functionally, collaborating with various teams to ensure cohesive strategy targets are met
  • Manage day to day YouTube account, meeting regularly with the YouTube country lead to discuss priorities & strategic campaign opportunities
  • Participate in Global Forum Calls representing Canadian priorities & optimizing global priorities
  • Manage existing partnerships, secure and launch new relationships that drive business growth objectives in cooperation with key cross-functional stakeholders
  • Track key metrics to proactively recommend and execute content strategies
  • Use your analytical skills to influence and communicate internally & externally
  • Understand and execute balance of paid, owned & earned media to drive KPIs efficiently & effectively
  • Prepare regular reporting of key performance metrics & communicate findings across the company
  • Educate internal & external stakeholders on evolving platform opportunities
  • Occasionally help develop and execute promotional events with partners & artists
  • Helping maintain & optimize UMC artist channels



  • Deep knowledge & proven results of developing YouTube audience growth strategies
  • Experience working with analysis, data management & public presentations
  • Experience in digital entertainment, studio/ network or digital platforms
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, fluid and collaborative environment
  • Past experience working with YouTube influencers is an asset
  • Passionate about creative content and story telling
  • Ability to adapt and change accordingly to maximize opportunity
  • Positive self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Confidence in one’s self to speak on a variety of musical artists and genres
  • Ability to manage a key account for the company with a high level of professionalism
