AudioMovers, acquired by Abbey Road Studios in 2021, is a tech start-up which has established a reputation as the music producer’s preferred remote collaboration tool.  Launched in 2019, Audiomovers is a software product that allows music professionals to stream, listen to and record high resolution multichannel remote audio in real time, with multiple collaborators, anywhere in the world. The solution includes a set of plugins, Listento and Listento Receiver, and mobile apps, with a beta desktop application coming soon. With its support of lossless multichannel audio, up to 7.1 surround, combined with its stability and unique ability to adjust latency and bit rate, Audiomovers stands apart from other remote tools on the market.  Mimicking in person collaboration and seamlessly fitting into the producer’s workflow, Audiomovers meets the high-quality expectations of thousands of music professionals across the world, from a producer working on a track with their co-writer to a large scale, scoring post production facility streaming multichannel audio to multiple teams and listeners at the same time.

With already proven product market fit and investment from Abbey Road Studios, AudioMovers has an aggressive growth and scale up plan for the product to reach its full potential.  We are looking for the team to be part of this exciting journey.

 

The B Side: Skills & Experience



Audiomovers is looking for a Revenue Director to support the business through a rapid scale-up and beyond.  This role encompasses a wide range of revenue growth related responsibilities, including customer acquisition and retention, business development, partnerships, key client management, product commercial modelling and pricing strategy.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in subscription-based revenue growth / scale up environments and with a proven track record of expanding revenue whilst maintaining a collaborative relationship with the whole operating team. You will be responsible for delivering Audiomovers revenue targets and activities to drive rapid subscriber growth across our key geographies and nurturing a nascent B2B client base.  Working closely with the marketing team, you will own the entire sales and retention process, from target setting, pricing and commercial strategies to product requirements and data analytics.  We are a small, autonomous team within a larger organisation and iterate on a rapid development cycle, so we are looking for someone hands on with a vision to steer the evolution of the brand as we explore new markets and product verticals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee our sales and company growth. In the Sales Director role, you will develop strategies to achieve sales targets and help our team build strong relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for achieving financial targets, monitoring customer trends, and creating action plans. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record with executive sales experience and leadership skills.

 

  • Ownership of meeting annual growth targets
  • Design and implement strategic sales plans in line with Audiomovers strategy and growth ambitions
  • Data / quantitative driven approach to customer and revenue growth – ability to pivot based on business intelligence / customer trends
  • Lead all aspects of pricing strategy & execution, including pricing, offering and deal matrix, ROI testing, competitive analysis, new pricing models
  • Build a deep understanding of the competitor and market landscape to inform strategy that responds to market trends as they emerge
  • Working with the marketing team to meet company growth goals:
    • drive demand and retention
    • lowering CAC and increasing LTV
    • optimise ROI
  • Develop and expand the nascent B2B business by understanding industry specific user cases and developing strong client relationships, own client success
  • Create new business development opportunities, explore new verticals and new revenue streams
  • Build strong partnership relationships
  • Drive execution with technology, product and marketing teams to maintain a core focus on efforts to scale growth, expand channel mix, and drive lifetime value
  • Work with Head of Marketing and the founders to influence and drive key consumer driven features and engagement
  • Analyse and communicate revenue and growth performance to executive management and stakeholders
  • Provide progress updates to the Board on a regular basis

 

 

Personal specification


                                                                                                                   

  • Previous experience in a revenue/sales role at a high-growth SAAS/subscription start-up
  • Proven track record of creating sustainable revenue growth and delivering aggressive sales targets
  • Demonstrable experience in implementing successful sales strategies and reactive tactics
  • Proven track record of working with consumer data to inform and create aggressive customer growth and retention
  • Experience selling B2C subscription based SAAS in multiple global territories
  • Willing to roll sleeves up and support the business and team with broader strategic and practical decision making
  • Ability to swap effortlessly between a strategic mindset and hands on mentality
  • Excellent communicator and excel in rapid decision making
  • Understanding of music production, audio products or passion for software

Desirable:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               
  • Experience in building a SaaS sector a plus
  • Previous experience at a pro-audio technology company
  • Basic understanding of plug-in / VST software
