How we LEAD: 

Seeking an exceptional and innovative coordinator to provide marketing and administrative support to the Marketing department for Capitol Music Group. This role provides a unique opportunity to be at the center of artists’ teams and gain experience in a wide variety of music industry aspects. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, detail-oriented, hardworking, communicative, and passionate about developing artists.

How you’ll CREATE:

  • Provide marketing support to marketing leads as main point of contact for their rosters of artists across all record labels under Capitol Music Group
  • Gather all tools and assets for upcoming releases; organize and maintain team asset folders
  • Build team email updates to distribute pertinent release updates, approved marketing materials, assets to internal and external teams
  • Collaborate with all departments across the company to setup and execute rollouts
  • Help execute and contribute creative campaign ideas to support rollouts
  • Administer budgets alongside marketing directors, process all department invoices in the UMG Uniport system, and manage third-party vendor correspondence including setup for payment
  • Liaise with production departments to schedule digital and physical releases, and assist with asset delivery to meet deadlines
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including artists, artist managers, agents, tour managers and international territories on various requests
  • Attend artist shows and events as needed
  • Use a variety of platforms to compile streaming and sales updates
  • Design and maintain artist one-sheets and timeline documents for team reference
  • Work with third party vendors to conceptualize and manufacture promotional tools; handle all mail-outs
  • Attend all label meetings; take notes when necessary and organize to distribute to the team
  • Setup conference calls and coordinate meetings
  • Order and track physical promotional product
  • Assist Directors with expenses and booking travel
  • Coordinate general admin requests for the marketing department

Bring your VIBE:

  • Advanced level artist relations and/or third-party distribution experience in a consumer-focused 3+ years’ experience in music industry marketing
  • Passion for music and developing artists
  • International and domestic marketing experience preferred
  • Adobe Photoshop & InDesign experience strongly preferred
  • Previous UMG experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, familiarity with MRC Music Connect, Uniport/SAP preferred
  • Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based on evolving workload
  • Strong understanding of the music industry
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives
  • Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of our company at all levels including Senior Management
