The A Side: A Day in The Life

 

Music discovery has never been more accessible, no matter where you are in the world, what language you speak, whether a song was written in 1910 or released yesterday it’s all there for audiences around the world to enjoy on the platform of their choice!

 
A label with a 90 year history and diverse roster will keep you busy on a day to day basis.

 
Bringing an energy to the team and a passion for music discovery across genres you will be at the centre the label. You will work alongside Audience, Frontline Marketing, eCommerce and Catalogue product managers to bring a commercial vision and audience centric campaigns to audiences from YouTube to Peloton.  

 
Creativity is central to this role – bringing life to our rich catalogue with
innovative campaigns across all media types.

 

The B Side: Skills and Experience




Be creative

 

  • Formulate and manage marketing campaigns to drive revenue across Decca’s diverse and rich catalogue, with specific attention to key artist brands
  • Driving the creation of a complimentary catalogue marketing program to work hand in hand with label release schedule and moments calendar
  • Commissioning of all creative assets for marketing to include audio visual as well as spoken word and text formats (think newspaper hand out at The Proms or short form Tik Tok visuals for Christmas)

 

Be collaborative

 

  • Working closely with Audience teams and Fused to drive pro-active marketing campaigns based on data insights
  • Delivering commercial rational for each campaign working alongside Head of Catalogue / Head of Commercial
  • Collaborating and leading Catalogue campaign managers in deciding product release suites to coincide with marketing plans. Collaborating with other members of the marketing team where catalogue activity can sit alongside frontline releases
  • Work with artist managers / estates where appropriate for approval of content and plans
  • Able to collaborate internationally to optimise campaigns for specific territories where necessary and manage releases from partner repertoire centres in the UK

 

Be analytical

 

  • Analysing and delivering learnings to the label
  • Utilising all insight available to drive exploration and acquisition of new audiences on burgeoning platforms
  • Manage budgets for all campaigns


 

  

Person Specification

 

Necessary

 

  • Knowledge of classical and jazz music genres
  • A passion and thirst to explore and learn
  • Previous experience of dealing with senior members of an organisation
  • Excellent proven organisational & communication skills
