Position Overview:

The Assistant Marketing Manager will play a key role in expanding UNIQLO’s brand and product presence across Canada. In this dynamic position, you will help develop comprehensive, 360° product marketing plans that align global strategies with local market needs. Collaborating with both internal teams and external partners, you will identify new opportunities and execute strategic initiatives using a variety of media channels and customer touchpoints. Your efforts will focus on communicating compelling messages to targeted audiences, ultimately strengthening UNIQLO’s brand equity nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive brand awareness and market positioning through sophisticated, impactful product marketing initiatives.
  • Partner on the development and execution of strategic seasonal and monthly campaigns for priority products, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and engage emerging customer segments to unlock new growth opportunities and expand market reach.
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive analyses to define UNIQLO’s unique value proposition and points of differentiation within the Canadian landscape.
  • Propose integrated short-term and long-term marketing strategies, leveraging deep analysis of market trends, sales performance, budget allocation, and consumer insights.
  • Support the effective management of seasonal and annual marketing budgets by analyzing ROI, profit-and-loss projections, and spending efficiency.
  • Oversee agency partnerships, providing clear, strategic briefs for the development and execution of marketing plans.
  • Contribute to the creation and activation of innovative partnerships and programs that elevate UNIQLO’s brand presence, drive sales, and increase in-store engagement.
  • Coordinate and execute in-store and local market product marketing events to enhance customer experience and brand visibility.
  • Maintain proactive, collaborative communication with external agencies to assess proposals and capitalize on new business opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing marketing campaigns, marketing strategies, and planning and execution.
  • Analytical mindset with strong project management skills.
  • Flexible and ready to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience supporting agency management is a plus.
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit.
  • Strong, clear communication skills,
  • Enjoy hands-on work and creative problem-solving.

Annual Salary:  $92,000 - 98,000 CAD

The salary range is based on several factors, including but not limited to overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and the position's location.
