About the Role:
 
The primary purpose if this role is: 1) To ensure the highest percentage of financial commitments across the company through contracts and direct purchases are accurately reflected in the procurement system with the proper financial controls,  2) Ensure that we have implemented and continue to drive efficiencies in our best in-class procure-to-pay work flow(s), 3) Manage the complete procure-to-pay process and guide the organization through efficient processing by driving to exception management model and, 4) Manage a supplier base with developed pricing strategies and negotiations with proactive relationships and performs any RFPs as necessary with the suppliers being managed. 
 
  • Design procure-to-pay process flow and ensure ongoing efficiency with the workflow.
  • Oversee the procure-to-pay process flow and continue to monitor, and if necessary, correct its effectiveness.
  • Lead staff through transitioning from invoice processing to exception management with procure-to-pay transactions and guide the staff serving as subject matter expert.
  • Partner and collaborate with management across the organization in recording all goods and services purchased in the procurement system to ensure proper financial controls are in place.
  • Oversee categories of spend and evaluate the total cost of ownership (TCO) with developed negotiations and pricing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain effective supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Prepare and run RFPs in conjunction with internal business partners and with assigned categories of spending. Maintain cost effective supplier selections throughout this bidding process.
  • Responsible for Ensuring all processes and system changes or for efficiencies are properly evaluated for business impacts and proactively communicated to prevent any business interruptions.
  • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
  • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Accounting, or Business, required.
  • 4-7 years of experience with purchasing responsibilities leading a team in an indirect environment. Demonstrated skills with managing; large purchasing projects, procurement transformations, procure-to-pay system implementations or systems management, systems integrations, and supplier management skills (contracting, contract negotiations, RFPs, etc.), required.
  • 2-4 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience with process change and leading to future state.
  • Experience with procurement systems and systems management in the procure-to-pay space.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and be multi tasked oriented.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and communicate to small and medium size audiences.
  • Experience with implementing process changes and large project management.
  • Proven experience demonstrating a full understanding of purchasing best in-class practices, managing procure-to-pay systems, and process automation.
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or APICS, preferred.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
