About the Role:

The Assistant Chief Pilot supervises flight crews to ensure compliance with Company policy, FAA aircraft and operating procedures. They are also assigned any duties by the Chief Pilot and assists the Chief Pilot in the development, administration, coordination, and implementation of company policies. They ensure flight operational safety and compliance with flight standards of 14CFR 91, the company Operation Specification and all applicable manuals. They ensure the highest degree of safety in the operation and serve and support the Chief Pilot.

  • Ensures through testing and/or observation, that persons under their authority know and abide by the applicable portions of policies and regulations including, but not limited to, Federal Aviation Regulations, Airman’s Informational Manual and Operations Specifications.
  • Responsible for oversight of flight operations and ensures flight operations are conducted in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and operational specifications, monitor and correct as necessary operational standards quality assurance.
  • Ensures flight operations are done in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and operational specifications, monitors operational standards, and corrects as necessary.
  • Identifies, anticipates, and takes corrective to minimize flight delays due to scheduling operations, crew legality, and maintenance issues.
  • Recommends and implements approved policies according to the Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Recommend process and communication improvements.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all cases involving client aircraft operations and when dealing with sensitive or security issues.
  • Perform pre- and post-flight inspections of aircraft including fuel, equipment, and navigational systems.
  • Operates the aircraft safely and always maintains a good degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings. Must be willing to clean, stock, organize and help maintain offices and aircraft to the highest standard.

About You:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or its equivalent is preferred.
  • Pilot License (FAA, ATP Multi Engine Land) free from infractions is required.
  • Pilot Training Hours Total Time: 3,000; 1,500 Hours PIC; 350 Hours Instrument; Multi Engine 1,000 hours; 300 hours in XLS+; 100 or more Hours in the Falcon 2000EX aircraft is required; additional pilot time in Falcon 2000LXS is preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience flying part 91 (FAR’s) is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, operational specifications, and other technical data appropriate to aircraft operations.
  • Advanced working knowledge of applicable FAA, EASA regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer services skills and ability to maintain an elevated level of personal decorum, confidentiality, professional conduct, and personal appearance.
  • Must possess strong crew resource management skills and work well in a team environment.
  • Must have a valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
  • Must be available for frequent travel with overnight stays as needed including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient using an IPAD and advanced understanding of Foreflight and Aviation Manager.
  • Able to pass all required pre-employment background checks.

Our Benefits:

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this exempt role is $130,000.00 to $180,00.00 and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
