About the Role:

Responsible for managing large, complex, or important commercial card programs.  Works directly with the company administrators and owners as the main point of contact and escalation for commercial card programs.  Partners with Commercial Card Consultants (CCC), Treasury Management Consultants (TMC), Relationship Managers (RM), and other areas of the bank to understand the customer's overall relationship and keeps them informed of successes and challenges related to the card programs.  Completes customer card program reviews at least annually.  Continually seeks to optimize customer programs and spend through structured and ongoing review of performance data, new solutions, and related opportunities. 

 

  • Directly and through partnerships, manages customer’s commercial card program for large, complex, or important relationships. Act as the main point of contact or escalation for administrators as it relates to their card programs.
  • Monitor customer’s monthly activity and patterns and review changes with customers to identify any challenges, concerns, or opportunities.
  • Prepare annual customer program review and work in conjunction with RM and TMC to ensure all customer issues are addressed. Complete annual review onsite with customer, RM and TMC as required.
  • Grow customer profitability by identifying opportunities to expand customer spend through direct card issuance, payables, or other tools. Present new products and opportunities to customer and work with card team to implement solutions.
  • Consult with client to develop and identify best practices within the industry and peers to continually improve customer’s programs and efficiency.
  • Coordinate execution of designed plans and projects across internal support groups and client technical resources while keeping partners aware of progress of each project.
  • Evaluate and identify new solutions, offerings, and program enhancements that can benefit commercial card programs and communicate these to program administrators and owners.
  • Maintain in depth industry knowledge through seminars, conferences, and publications to represent the constantly changing payments landscape as a product champion and expert.
  • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
  • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:

 

  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-7 years in Treasury Management sales, commercial card sales, or related experience. Require.
  • Extensive knowledge of cards, payments, and payment systems required to evaluate, consult, and sell solutions to commercial clients.
  • Knowledge and understanding of bank payment systems, treasury management products, competitive practices and the impact of technology, regulatory, and legislative changes on services offered by commercial banks and other financial providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently develop and execute sales planning within assigned sales territory selling products with frequently long sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve established sales and customer satisfaction goals, demonstrate effective new business development strategies, and build/source new relationships.
  • Possess strong analytical, problem solving, customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to develop and present effective sales proposals.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and industry specific software applications

Our Benefits:

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $86,000.00 - $130,000.00 and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
