About the Role:

 

Works with Treasury Management Consultants (TMC) and Commercial Card Consultants (CCC) using a consultative solutions sales process with clients and prospects to understand needs and develop complex, multi-product solutions.  Trains and coaches TMCs and CCCs on the solution selling process and ensures that they are highly proficient in process mapping for clients, and in presenting the value proposition and ROI proposal to clients. Attends events and industry efforts to deliver thought leadership and optimize solutions and servicing approach. 

 

  • Lead TMCs and CCCs in the solution sales process and ensure that they are highly proficient in process mapping for clients, and in presenting the value proposition and ROI proposal to clients. Responsible for ensuring all TMCs and CCCs can independently execute the Columbia solution selling approach.
  • Strives to ensure all TMCs and CCCs can independently execute a solution selling approach via an array of training and certification approaches.
  • Lead consultation process directly with larger clients and prospects using the Working Capital Assessment approach to sales.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to the solution selling process, develop and train on new approaches.
  • Collaborate with business line leaders and relationship managers to provide knowledge and training on the Working Capital consulting process.
  • Responsible for continuously improving the solution selling process via internal and external feedback.  Monitors industry trends and new products and solutions to optimize the consultative sales process and client experience.
  • Identify, coordinate, and lead client events and industry conferences, and lead speaking engagements and panels as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
  • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation P, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Marketing, Business or other related field. Required
  • Master's Degree. Preferred.
  • 7-10 years of Treasury Management sales, commercial card sales, or related experience. Required
  • 4-7 years of Management of sales teams. Preferred
  • Experience leading teams and project management oversight.
  • Knowledge of bank payment systems, treasury management products, competitive practices and the impact of technology, regulatory, and legislative changes on services offered by commercial banks and other financial providers.
  • Experience with common customer accounting platforms preferred; ex: QuickBooks, Microsoft GP, Sage, Oracle, NetSuite, and PeopleSoft.
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve established sales and customer satisfaction goals, demonstrate effective new business development strategies, and build/source new relationships.
  • Experience in project management with a proven attention to detail.
  • Advanced coaching and consultative sales techniques required.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or other applicable treasury management certification(s). Preferred

Our Benefits:

 

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $133,000.00 - $210,000.00 , and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
