About the Role:
The Executive Assistant provides professional administrative, clerical, and operational support for executive level staff; specifically support our Global Payments & Deposits team.
- Responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and technical support, including receiving and screening incoming calls and mail, composing, editing, and typing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing travel arrangements.
- Responsible for researching and assembling data for reports, projects, presentations, and committee and board assignments. Analyzes, summarizes, and communicates information in a professional manner for presentation to the Board of Directors, executives, and senior management.
- Prepares calendars, agendas, and materials for various meetings.
- Coordinates activities surrounding meetings/retreats, as well as luncheon and dinner meetings. May be required to participate in management meetings and planning sessions. Coordinates meetings relating to highly confidential business initiatives.
- Prepares and compiles requested information for federal/state regulators and/or internal/external auditors. Serves as recording secretary for exit conferences as needed.
- Maintains corporate organization charts.
- Monitors and reconcile expenses associated with related departments. May participate in budget, goal creation and communication.
- Oversees maintenance of executive office space and board room.
- Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities.
- Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
- Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.

- May perform other duties as assigned.
About You:
- H.S. Diploma/GED, with some college credits or a bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an executive assistant position.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or Access may be required.
- Experience with general business classes, analysis, and accounting may be required.
- Experience in banking, respective business line, or a related area may be required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all circumstances.
- Ability to innovate, adapt, and use discretion in difficult or changing situations.
- Ability to travel for business as needed.
Work Style: Fully onsite.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $28.00 - $41.00 hourly ($57,520.00 - $86,280.00 as annualized) and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
