About the Role:

 

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and management of long-term digital marketing campaigns and short-term advertising techniques through digital platforms.  This role is responsible for enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic to the company’s websites and generating sales leads.

 

  • Develops and executes comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Plans and manages SEM (Search Engine Marketing) campaigns, including keyword research, and performance analysis.
  • Creates, manages, and optimizes display advertising campaigns across various platforms.
  • Designs and executes social media advertising campaigns, including paid ads on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Implements and monitors SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
  • Plans and executes email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborates with the web development team to create and maintain landing pages, ensuring optimal user experience and conversion rates.
  • Utilizes web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytic, HotJar) to track, measure, and report on website and campaign performance.
  • Analyzes customer behavior and journey across multiple channels and touchpoints to identify conversion opportunities and drop-off points.
  • Generates detailed reports and insights on digital marketing performance, providing actionable recommendations to enhance effectiveness and achieve KPIs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
  • Coordinates with internal teams and external partners, such as web and design teams, to align strategies and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training.  Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
  • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations and completes all required annual or job specific training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Banks written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert.
  • Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.

About You:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field. Preferred.
  • 1-2 yearsSupervisory/management experience or demonstrated leadership experience. Required
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Self-motivated and customer-focused.
  • Proven experience working in digital marketing.
  • Advanced experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Extensive understanding of websites development, usage and marketing analytics tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of add serving tools and setting up and optimizing digital campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to execute multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, fluid and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated experiencing leading and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media advertising and display advertising campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills and ability to inspire and mentor others.

Our Benefits:

 

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $86,000.00-$110,000.00and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
