About the Role:
The branch manager leads a team that is responsible for exceptional customer service standards, operational soundness, and generating revenue for the branch and Bank. They work closely with their respective regional manager to attain branch- and Bank-established goals.

  • Understand all core products to make recommendations to customers.
  • Ensure satisfactory audits and operational soundness.
  • Possess intermediate-level business development/outbound calling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage the branch facility and assets.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in consumer lending.
  • Build knowledge in business lending.
  • Ensure good internal business relationships.
  • Maintain the Bank’s culture and core values.
  • Execute and communicate direction and vision of the branch, region, and Bank to the branch team.
  • Demonstrate community involvement by being a visible and active referral source.
  • Manage one’s own portfolio.
  • Build skills in analyzing financial statements and tax returns.
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

About You:
  • Retail banking experience.
  • Management experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understand the principles of banking and how our business operates.
  • Participate in employee development and own one’s own self-development.
  • Possess managerial leadership competencies.
  • for the overall functioning of the branch · Broad understanding of cash flow, financial, statements, and market risk.
  • Bilingual, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
Work Style:
Umpqua Bank offers a Flexible Workplace Program, and this opportunity comes with the Full Office work style which is working in office from a designated company location five days weekly.
Our Benefits:
We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $54,964.00 to $95,270.76, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
