• Master’s or Phd in electrical engineering, physics or similar
• At least 3 years of professional experience at technical consultancies or energy utilities is an advantage
• Excellent social competence, team spirit & communication
• Deep technical understanding of US electric power grids and components as well as challenges in the energy transition towards renewables
• Deep understanding of US energy markets and the regulatory framework
• Experience in applying electric grid calculation tools
• Advanced project management skills
• High willingness to travel up to 80%
• German language skills is a plus
