  • Execute charging tests on software, component, system, and vehicle level
  • Analyze validation results and compare to charging standards and norms for conformance
  • Write test specifications and test plans based on norms, standards or use cases
  • Propose design of experiments and summarize results in test reports
  • Develop testing solutions on model, software, and hardware level for new mobility systems, Electric Vehicle powertrain services, or charging infrastructure
  • Collaborate and provide technical support to a team of engineers and consultants creating test automation solutions for electrification (EV) and hybridization (HEV) of the powertrain
  • Execution and leading of engineering projects with technical and/or economic focus to a variety of topics along the electric mobility value chain (electric powertrain, charging, charging infrastructure, backend, digital services, power grid, ecosystem)
  • Customer communication, care & acquisition, and project development
  • Work independently in a young & dynamic environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields of study
  • 2-3 years of experience working on electrification/hybridization technologies including low / high voltage power systems and charging components (EVCC, SECC)
  • Experience in setup, configuration and operation of test systems and equipment (e.g. Vector, NI, Keysight, Oscilloscope )
  • Programming skills in CAPL or similar language
  • Deep knowledge in Electric Vehicle charging standards (e. g. UL2202, IEC61851, ISO15118, DIN70121, etc.) and the validation / certification processes
  • Knowledge about embedded systems and automotive network communication (CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of technology in electrical power supply grids and charging stations for electric vehicles
  • Broad knowledge in the field of Electric Mobility (market, technologies, power grid)
  • Solid understanding of the latest challenges and trends focused on one or more of Electric Mobility key areas including Charging, Battery & Battery Management System, Inverter, and Electric Motor.
  • You have outstanding social skills, team spirit and strong communication skills.
  • Passionate about Electric Mobility
  • You think outside the box and have excellent analytical skills
  • Open to challenges that involve new and unfamiliar technologies.
  • Ability to understand the basics and fundamentals as well as big picture implications such as cost, differentiators, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time
  • German language skills are a plus
