Title: Senior Director, HRIS

Position Summary:
Under the leadership of the VP Compensation & HRIS, leads the development, maintenance and coordination of services related to HRIS, including the implementation and optimization of Workday.
Major Responsibilities:

  • Leads the optimization efforts of Workday, employing best practices and strategies to ensure world class services to HR customers across the system.
  • Serves as a liaison between HR and Information System (IS) management and technical staff.  Establishes and maintains a close working relationship.
  • Brings knowledge and expertise on reporting and analytics that can be leveraged by operational leaders to create positive impacts across the system.
  • Identifies development opportunities, appropriate staffing model, and KPI’s for the HRIS Team to deliver world class customer service to the organization. 

  • Directs and supervises assigned personnel including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training.  Makes recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions.  Resolves grievances and other personnel problems within position responsibilities.

  • Manages ad-hoc project requests/assignments and delegates tasks as warranted.  Leads project management teams for continued system development and implementations. 
Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 
  • Master’s degree. 
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HRIS, with 5 years in a management position.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to interface between technical and non-technical personnel. 
  • Demonstrated analytical, decision making, problem solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of best practice data analytics and KPIs.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Workday.
  • Experience setting up and running an HR or IT solution center.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions and operations.
