PDI Technician/Warehouse Assistant
Description
With a mechanical background, you will be working as part of a target driven team, preparing and testing coffee machines prior to installation at customer sites. This role also includes assistance with the day to day operation of the UCC Ireland warehouse.
The Role:
• Acceptance check and PAT test all coffee machines to customer specification.
• Fault find, calibrate and test machines in line with company guidelines and ensure fully
functioning and set up prior to customer installation.
• Check and inspect goods received, ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type and
acceptable quality.
• Load/unload delivery vehicles and use mechanical handling equipment i.e. fork lift trucks to
move goods.
• Pick, pack, wrap and label products and remove pallets from warehouse area as required.
• Assist in cleaning or clearing returned coffee machines, dispose of returned filter/machine
boxes.
• Ensure workshop and warehouse areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and that all health
and safety policy is adhered to.
• Assist with month end stock takes and complete relevant administration forms.
The Person:
• Mechanical background with previous warehouse operative experience
• Strong analytical skills to interpret & implement customer specifications
• Attention to detail to spot defective products
• Good team working skills and ability to work on your own
• Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures
• A willingness to work flexibly
Salary: Up to €27k + 25 days holiday + EAP + Life Assurance + other Company benefits.
