Outbound Sales Lead Account Executive
Description
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Outbound Sales Lead Account Executive to lead our inside sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to drive performance while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
As the Outbound Sales Lead Account Executive, you will lead and manage a team of Outbound Sales Account Executives responsible for driving vendor sign-ups for our monetized payment solutions. You will oversee daily operations, provide coaching and guidance, and ensure that your team meets or exceeds enrollment targets. Additionally, you will play a key role in strategizing, implementing process improvements, and enhancing team performance to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Outbound Sales Specialists to ensure optimal performance and achievement of enrollment targets.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members, and monitor progress through regular coaching, performance reviews, and feedback.
- Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates, share best practices, and address any challenges the team may be facing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and enrollment success rates.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new Vendor Enrollment Specialists.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as call volume, enrollment conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, to track team performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Handle escalated vendor inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and a positive experience for all parties involved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and customer support, to align efforts and ensure the successful onboarding of vendors.
- Prepare and present regular reports to upper management on team performance, key metrics, and areas for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends and product offerings to effectively guide the team and offer strategic insights.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales, B2B sales, or customer service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving sales success and meeting or exceeding team targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of sales professionals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence vendors and team members.
- Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and take action to improve team performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to managing escalations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
