We’re looking for a Product Manager to serve as part of our Outdoor Recreation team.

As the product manager, you will serve as a key member of the Outdoor Recreation team within NIC/Tyler Technologies – the nation’s leader in providing innovative solutions to government agencies. The product manager will own a set of products/modules/capabilities and is responsible for defining, prioritizing, planning, and driving the execution of the vision for the existing and future product. The Product Manager must possess strong business acumen, as well as technical wherewithal, in order to be able to strategize, drive and bring products to market. This leader will work extensively with customers and prospects, as well as various teams within NIC/Tyler Technologies to achieve greatness.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Own a set of products/modules/capabilities related to the Tyler Technologies Outdoor Recreation product portfolio
  • Serve as the key member of the product team
  • Ensure that the marketing and sales plans are implemented and delivered on time/on target
  • Plan, organize and facilitate the launch of product enhancements and features
  • Keep in close contact with the market
  • Develop a consultative and “trusted advisor” status among our Outdoor Recreation clients

Requirements:

  • Have 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experiencing managing web-based and SaaS solutions (strong preferred)
  • An outstanding communicator and presenter
  • Advanced skill with research and sourcing methodologies
  • Enthusiastically creative, but able to work within a process and meet deadlines
  • A great team player

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work at a computer and monitor for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift at least 10 lbs. of weight
  • Able to operate and use a personal computer
