Description

Tyler is seeking a Business Development/Sales Intern to join our Market Strategy team. In this role, you will identify prospects and leads through telemarketing and use of Tyler's CRM system. This is a great position if you have solid phone and persuasion skills and want to break into the world of business-to-business sales, specifically in the financial software market.

Responsibilities

  • Work with other Business Development Representatives to assist with prospecting efforts or lead management.
  • Support the Business Development team by handling all inbound Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for those verticals that do not have a designated Business Development Representative.
  • Assist with lead qualification for large MQL-generating events such as trade shows or user conferences.

Qualifications

  • Professional phone demeanor; prior phone and/or customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Ability to use or learn Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Prior CRM experience is a plus.
  • Organized and detail oriented with solid note-taking abilities
  • Quick and willing learner; these individuals will need to be taught how our sales and lead processes function.
