Tyler’s Municipal & Schools marketing team is seeking a Trade Show Specialist to lead the planning and execution of high-impact events that support our strategic marketing goals. In this role, you’ll collaborate across teams to design customized trade show experiences for targeted audiences, ensuring every event aligns with overall campaign strategy and delivers measurable results. From concept through post-show analysis, you’ll own performance outcomes and continuously optimize our approach to maximize ROI. With strong exposure to integrated marketing strategy and cross-functional collaboration, this position is ideal for a marketing professional eager to grow and build a long-term career in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive trade show strategies aligned with Tyler’s marketing objectives, including event research, goal-setting, messaging alignment, timeline management, and budget oversight
  • Design engaging booth experiences and interactive elements that reflect campaign strategy and resonate with target audiences
  • Oversee all event logistics, including vendor coordination, inventory management, and shipment of booth assets and promotional materials
  • Travel as needed to support on-site execution, manage logistics, and represent the marketing team at key industry events
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, evaluate event success against KPIs and ROI goals, and deliver actionable post-event insights and recommendations
  • Manage the trade show calendar and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts and preferred vendor partners
  • Partner closely with sales teams to coordinate lead management and post-show follow-up strategies
  • Monitor and manage budgets throughout the event lifecycle, including invoice processing, expense reporting, vendor selection, and contract negotiation in compliance with company policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to execute integrated campaigns that support and amplify trade show initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting or managing trade shows, events, or experiential marketing initiatives preferred
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and translate insights into action
  • Basic understanding of the public sector software industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; experience with marketing automation or CRM platforms is a plus
  • CTSM certification or active pursuit of certification preferred
