Description

The Data Service Analyst is an important member of the implementation team who provides services to clients during the implementation of Tyler Software for new and existing accounts. Services to clients may include data conversion verification and balancing, report deployment, assistance with setup of applications and meter reading integration, as well as application process testing as required.

Responsibilities

  • Balance and verify integrity of converted data to related reports
  • Comparison and verification of legacy system in relation to Tyler application
  • Collaborate with Conversion Programmers, Report Developers, Implementation Consultants, Project Managers, other Tyler stakeholders, and client to ensure successful data conversion
  • Standard Forms modifications
  • May assist with setup of applications, including 3rd party interface implementation and testing
  • Application process testing as required
  • Responsible for the documentation and resolution of issuesrisks, and action items related to converted data
  • Manage multiple activities while staying calm and on-pace with the implementation schedule
  • Build rapport with the client while actively moving them towards resolution of all conversion issues
  • Incorporate new information, analyze issues, and make quick decisions on how to resolve issues in the converted data
  • Ensure that reports from Tyler System vs reports from legacy System match, as it applies to the conversion
  • Ability to discuss and communicate on a technical level with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understand the implementation processes, methods and deliverables
  • Update and maintain list of data verification processes that are to be provided to the implementation team
  • Proactively document and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate parties

Qualifications

  • Four year college degree or threeyears of experience in utility software implementation/consulting services or an equal number of years working directly with CIS/CRM applications
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, and ability to follow-through until a process is complete
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision making and strong analytical and problem solving skills particularly in converted data verification
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in MS SQL, Access, and other database applications
    Crystal Reports and SSRS reports services
  • Proficient in MS Word and Powerpoint
  • Advanced in MS Excel and other csv applications
