Senior Software Engineer - .NET
Description
Tyler Technologies’ Maryland Enterprise is seeking candidates for a Senior .NET Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of a strong development team and they will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into functional web-based applications throughout all stages of the SDLC.
The Developer will create and support large-scale/complex applications by gathering requirements, designing, maintaining, developing, testing, and deploying applications with security, efficiency, maintainability, and usability in mind.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship high-quality customer-facing web applications.
- Maintain and improve a distributed cloud platform running on AWS.
- Develop and containerize .NET applications deployed to AWS.
- Provide direct mentorship to junior engineers on the team.
- Collaborate with other engineers, engineering management, designers, and project managers to design and architect solutions.

- Care about scalable, robust, well-tested code.
- Consider yourself a full stack engineer, willing to work in any part of the stack required for the task. For a senior level role, we need you to have at least 4 years of experience.
- Have significant frontend experience (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). We are currently using Vue, React and bootstrap.
- Develop secure .NET C# containerized applications running in AWS.
- Demonstrate experience in owning all aspects of a system lifecycle, from proper design, testing, deployment, metrics, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Enable other engineers’ success both through your code contributions and through direct mentorship.
- Have experience working with database technologies including relational databases MS-SQL and NoSQL stores. Bonus points for experience with technologies like Elasticsearch/AWS.
- Have experience with converting .NET Framework to .NET containerized apps. Development of Java applications is a plus.
- Are comfortable working in a heterogeneous development environment where you’ll be working with multiple development languages and technologies.
