Description
The Project Billing and Setup Specialist is responsible for managing the billing process and setting up projects within the company's systems. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with project managers and finance teams to align billing activities with project goals and financial policies.
Responsibilities
- Project Setup:
- Set up new projects in the company's project management and billing systems.
- Ensure all project details are accurately entered and maintained.
- Coordinate with project managers to understand project scopes and requirements.
- Billing Management:
- Prepare and issue invoices for project-related services.
- Monitor and track billing schedules to ensure timely invoicing.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers to understand project scopes and billing requirements.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices for billing and invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in billing, accounting, or finance roles.
- Experience with project billing and invoicing is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex billing issues.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Must be able to work at least 3 days a week at our BGC Office in Taguig.
