Description

This position is designed as an entry into the realm of Project Management. This position is expected to have a high degree of oversight by a mentor or senior team member.

 

Responsibilities

  • Communication of new project assignments as provided by leadership. Including initial contract request process and project details spreadsheet.
  • Basic understanding of add-on purchase orders.
  • Research basic invoice questions.
  • Could include initial project setup, preparing the project for the next step in the project assignment.
  • May perform project maintenance to process project amendments and voids.
  • Management of basic, non-professional service-related projects. Including resource assignments when needed and work ticket creation. Could include management of project milestones as defined for revenue recognition purposes.
  • Knowledgebase documentation maintenance.
  • Provide support for new initiatives undertaken by the ERP Pro Services team.
  • Develops stable working relationships internally.
  • Perform project research. 
  • Assist the accounting team in locating project documentation when closing out a project.
  • Ensure accuracy in accounting practices such as ASC 606 
  • Exchanges standard/basic information with colleagues and immediate supervisor, project leaders and other professionals in the team/group.
  • Determines a course of action based on guidelines.
  • Works on problems of limited scope.
  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
  • Work is reviewed periodically based on a set of defined procedures or precedence.
  • Familiarity of contract requirements, program modifications, and other site-specific background information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
  • Normally receives general instruction on work and new assignments.
  • Learns to use professional concepts. Applies knowledge and basic problem-solving techniques to define and resolve problems.
 

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Desire to learn and grow in the realm of project management
  • Proven planning, organizational skills, and follow through ability. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency using computers, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to problem-solve and present solutions with guidance.
  • Seeks appropriate guidance to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Ability to maintain a cheerful outlook and is open to feedback to further growth.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
