Project Coordinator, Manila
Description
This position is designed as an entry into the realm of Project Management. This position is expected to have a high degree of oversight by a mentor or senior team member.
Responsibilities
- Communication of new project assignments as provided by leadership. Including initial contract request process and project details spreadsheet.
- Basic understanding of add-on purchase orders.
- Research basic invoice questions.
- Could include initial project setup, preparing the project for the next step in the project assignment.
- May perform project maintenance to process project amendments and voids.
- Management of basic, non-professional service-related projects. Including resource assignments when needed and work ticket creation. Could include management of project milestones as defined for revenue recognition purposes.
- Knowledgebase documentation maintenance.
- Provide support for new initiatives undertaken by the ERP Pro Services team.
- Develops stable working relationships internally.
- Perform project research.
- Assist the accounting team in locating project documentation when closing out a project.
- Ensure accuracy in accounting practices such as ASC 606
- Exchanges standard/basic information with colleagues and immediate supervisor, project leaders and other professionals in the team/group.
- Determines a course of action based on guidelines.
- Works on problems of limited scope.
- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Work is reviewed periodically based on a set of defined procedures or precedence.
- Familiarity of contract requirements, program modifications, and other site-specific background information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Normally receives general instruction on work and new assignments.
- Learns to use professional concepts. Applies knowledge and basic problem-solving techniques to define and resolve problems.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Desire to learn and grow in the realm of project management
- Proven planning, organizational skills, and follow through ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency using computers, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to problem-solve and present solutions with guidance.
- Seeks appropriate guidance to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Ability to maintain a cheerful outlook and is open to feedback to further growth.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
