Human Resources Representative
Description
Tyler Technologies is looking for a HR professional to provide a full range of human resources services and partner closely with our team members and leaders on talent development, performance management coaching, compensation, benefits/leaves, culture, policy/process improvement, and other HR support.
This position is required to spend at least 3 days per week in our Yarmouth, Maine office (hybrid work arrangement).

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain credible and trusting relationships with team members and leadership
- Address complex employee relations and legal issues and provide advice and counsel as needed, adhering to HR policy and applicable laws
- Counsel team members and managers on HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent and fair treatment of all team members
- Conduct complex employee investigations
- Participate in onboarding new hires
- Responsible for performance management activities such as talent reviews, performance evaluation process, performance improvement process, and terminations
- Partner with divisional HR leader to assist with talent strategy, retention and succession planning
- Support learning and development programs and initiatives
- Ensure the HRIS database is accurate and up to date, and support managers with manager self-service
- Ensures that all divisional locations are in compliance with Federal, State and Company required postings
- Analyze surveys and other employment data to identify trends and provide recommendations to HR leadership
- Administer processes and programs such as Workers Compensation, Affirmative Action, Leaves of Absence, Recognition Programs, Immigration, etc.
- Serve as an advocate to ensure positive team member experience. Partner with HR leader in the execution of the annual employee engagement survey
- Support initiatives to ensure a respectful, inclusive, fair, and equitable workplace
- Model Tyler's Mission, Vision and Values behaviors and mentor team members to do the same
- Collaborate with divisional and Tyler-wide colleagues on various HR projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience
- Knowledge of human resources policies, programs, and strategies related to employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, and EEO/AAP administration
- Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, local and international laws, and regulations as it relates to the human resources function
- Posses an understanding of state and federal employment laws
- Resolve issues of moderate complexity utilizing knowledge of established guidelines, company policies and procedures and employment law
- Work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Posses superior customer service skills
- Ability to work independently on issues/projects of moderate scope which require research, thought and troubleshooting skills
