Tyler’s Courts and Justice marketing team is hiring a trade show specialist responsible for collaborating, executing, and supporting multiple aspects of trade show management. Primary responsibilities will include customizing the trade show approach for target audiences to achieve Tyler’s strategic marketing goals and ensuring that trade show delivery is consistent with strategy. The trade show specialist is accountable for ensuring that all aspects of trade shows return optimum performance against the objectives for each show, including but not limited to: research; registrations and booth configuration; management of shipping rentals, and on-site exhibit support; budget recommendations; lead management and reporting; inventory; and internal communications related to shows.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure trade show best practices are followed.
  • Facilitate the creation/development of strategic sales and marketing goals, objectives, and tactics for each trade show.
  • Identify appropriate events.
  • Research trade shows to obtain the latest vendor information.
  • Assist with budgetary reports and budget recommendations to the marketing lead.
  • Track trade show demographics: # of attendees, job titles, etc.
  • Explore, analyze, and recommend sponsorship opportunities.
  • Handle all trade show logistics including (but not limited to): selecting booth location, selecting/purchasing show services, and sending and consolidating pre- and post-show sales surveys.
  • Reserve booth inventory to ensure availability and appropriateness for each show.
  • Maintain trade show records.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with  associations, Tyler clients, Tyler staff, and third-party vendors.
  • Meet with the Marketing Lead minimally on a weekly basis to discuss items for which trade show coordinator is accountable.
  • Monitor marketing communications campaigns and their impact on trade shows.
  • Interface with Marketing and Sales to determine who will represent the company. Assist in finding alternate representation if needed.
  • Distribute show information, determining any special requests that might be needed for each show.
  • Occasionally travel to  trade shows to assist and/or supervise logistics and management of the show and to staff meetings.
  • Coordinate the execution of show-related marketing campaigns in collaboration with team.
  • Assist in the development of social media content creation and coordination of special events.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred, but not required
•    3-5 years of trade show experience preferred
•    CTSM or CTSM study preferred
•    Excellent organizational skills
•    Basic understanding of our industry (Public Sector Software) and marketing concepts
•    Strong communication skills
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
