Revenue Supervisor - Manila
Description
The Revenue Supervisor is responsible for monitoring of accurate timely billing and revenue recognition, ensuring we maintain proper revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and Tyler revenue recognition policies. This position reviews staff level work and assists staff in making appropriate adjustments to achieve accuracy of billing and revenue recognition.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly POC cycles for NW Public Safety, including review and attestations.
- Conduct monthly review of unbilled milestone and future deferred revenue schedules to ensure accurate timely billings and revenue recognition.
- Conduct quarterly review of open sales orders, working with staff and management to ensure timely and accurate billings.
- Review and assign staff work in coordination with the Manager, Revenue Operations.
- Assists staff in setting deferred revenue schedules in accordance with established procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and Tyler revenue recognition policies.
- Work with Tyler’s outside auditing firms to provide requested data.
- Resolve and troubleshoot billing issues that may arise.
- Process billings and generate invoices in accordance with contract specifications.
- Assist Manager, Revenue Operations with system generated document approvals.
- Prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute ideas and suggest process improvements to drive greater efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or comparable work experience
- 3-5 or more years’ experience in accounts receivable
- Proficient with the use of SOX, GAAP, and software sales revenue recognition, including 605-25, 605-35 & 985-605
- Keen attention to detail and ability to accurately review work
- Ability to thrive and perform under tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to properly communicate with staff and managers
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Desire to constantly expand their knowledge and take on additional work and assist staff to ensure all work is completed
- Must be able to work at least 2 days a week at our BGC Office in Taguig.
