Description

We are seeking a Corporate Communications Coordinator to play a vital role in managing the ongoing programmatic and operational needs of Tyler’s corporate communications department. The coordinator assists with the development, maintenance, tracking, and evaluation of communications deliverables, work product, tools and resources. Supporting communications efforts for both internal and external audiences, the coordinator ensures projects are well-organized, timely, and aligned with organizational goals. While the role collaborates across the department, the coordinator reports to the Vice President of Corporate Communications.

The coordinator role supports Tyler’s corporate communications function by leading the management of essential resources and tools that help drive consistency and engagement. This includes policies and procedures, employee handbooks, corporate positioning documents, and other tools and resources. The coordinator understands how various functions come together and supports strategies to engage, retain, and inform key audiences.
 

Responsibilities

  • Leads data collection, reporting, tracking and document maintenance for a high-performing team responsible for creating communications content. This includes updating and revising key corporate communications resources and tools.
  • Tracks and reports on department KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Manages and updates cross-departmental tools and resources, including policies, guidelines, and procedures that support collaboration and drive organizational alignment.
  • Manages and tracks the lifecycle of communications resources.
  • Provides project support, including managing timelines, vendors, and cross-functional communications.
 

Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of corporate communications experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
  • Proven track record of success in similar role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to collaborate with in-person and remote team members on complex, highly visible projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Data collection, analytics and presentation experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internal communications platforms and tools
  • Experience with data tracking, reporting, and tools such as Power BI
  • Strong program support skills, including presentation development and logistical support for projects and initiatives. 
  • Required to undergo and satisfactorily pass a fingerprint background check in accordance with CJIS requirements.
