We're looking for a Director of Sales to lead a team of account executives and help us expand our client base of public safety agencies across the U.S.  We're looking for someone with a track record of success in selling enterprise software who enjoys mentoring and motivating a sales team. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic sales plan for the geographic territory and ensure the plan is implemented in a manner that maximizes revenue growth.
  • Act as a resource for the sales team on day-to-day activities and train newly hired Account Executives.
  • Manage personnel issues and decisions such as hiring, employee performance, and professional development.
  • Negotiate contracts and handle pricing decisions within given parameters.
  • Travel to trade shows and client sites as needed, approximately 40-60%.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience selling enterprise software products and services.
  • Public safety and/or ERP sales experience is desired, not mandatory.
  • Proven experience acting as a resource to staff in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of helping employees achieve maximum performance.
  • A competitive drive and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and employees.
  • Valid driver's license.
