Market Intelligence Analyst

The Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for gathering and synthesizing market and competitor intelligence data into deliverables, as requested by internal customers. The Analyst will assist in the research and development of sales enablement tools such as battle cards and FOIA analyses. This position requires self-motivation, tenacity, and collaboration with other departments and business leaders across the company.


  • Conduct competitive research via a wide range of secondary tools and source data. Develop creative solutions for obtaining hard-to-find numbers and details. Present findings - including actionable strategic insights - in standard and custom presentation formats for internal decision-makers.
  • Research and determine implications of key competitor trends, strengths, weaknesses, competitive differentiators, positioning, pricing, technologies, etc. The focus will be on both existing and emerging competitors.
  • Conduct research on new market segments, verticals and products.
  • Use Google Alerts, SEC EDGAR Alerts and other sources to monitor competitor activities.
  • Assist with the research and development of sales enablement tools such as battle cards, competitive positioning, FOIA analyses.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in market and competitive intelligence, research, or product marketing a plus.
  • Experience with SWOT, PESTLE, Four Corners Analysis, and other strategic analysis models.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Required skills: perseverance, analytical thinking, flexibility.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, such as Power BI, a plus.
  • Experience in public sector enterprise software a plus.
