The Payment Specialist for Payment Operations is responsible for the growth of payment revenue through Tyler's suite of products, which are available for clients collecting payments online and in office. This role will focus on Public Administration Group payment solutions. This role will lead adoption programs for existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the PAG payment growth and adoption plan, including information on where the customer is currently as well as where they are headed in the future
  • Use a variety of strategies to increase the PAG payment presence with current customers
  • Work cross-functionally with various PAG technical and business team members to design and execute payment growth and adoption initiatives
  • Act as payment subject matter expert with customers, applying industry expertise and experience to drive growth and adoption.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer behavior and needs around payments
  • Improving citizen adoption of payment solutions
  • Develop a specific strategy to drive expanded adoption with clients already utilizing the offering
  • Provide feedback on product to help test/guide changes that will improve adoption.
  • Identify “low-performing” clients and create ways to grow adoption
  • Working directly with Inside Sales, increase the number of clients using our payment solutions (Insite, IVR, AutoPay, EasyPay, Text-to-Pay, etc.)
  • Track sales pipeline and forecast
  • Conduct market and user adoption analysis to determine reasonable adoption rates and build case studies for future sales
  • Track sales quotes to ensure that service offering is included on each quote, If not included, understand why and educate sales and or the client on the value
  • Track effort and ROI for all activities 

Qualifications

  • Proficient understanding of PAG products and payment related functions and integrations
  • Passion and drive for customer interaction and leading teams
  • Extreme customer-driven focus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous sales experience in the software industry a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a sales CRM system a plus.
  • Must possess a competitive drive and results-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills. Previous public speaking or general facilitation experience a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter in addition to a team player.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and employees required.
  • Must possess general computer (PC) literacy and proficiency with MS Office products.
