Position Summary:   
The main goal of this role is to provide leadership and training to Quality Inspectors. Position will interpret, follow and enforce company rules, and meet company targets. Be flexible enough to pick up added tasks and the ability to provide timely assistance without compromising accuracy are key attributes needed to be a successful Team Lead. In addition, the ideal candidate is someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills and possesses an ability to use independent judgement in prioritizing and carrying out tasks.   
   
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   
  • Lead, train and guide the Quality Control Inspectors to ensure success in the QC area.
  • Lead improvements activities for quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives for the different manufacturing Areas.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality performance to management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support company continuous improvement policy through Kaizen activities. 
  • Prepare Standard Work and Procedures for the different areas and facilitate effective communication of procedures. Perform internal audits of the different processes.
  • Work closely with the Manufacturing, Engineering and Customer Service Departments to resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
  • Must be able to assist in manpower management and ability to control overtime.
  • Monitors performance and provides feedback to Team Members.
  • Support company Policies and procedures as defined in handbook and administer it fairly and consistently.
  • Must ensure that all safety procedures and practices are implemented and followed.
  • Communicate effectively with others using both oral and written communication skills.
  • Support and complete other tasks as assigned.
   
Requirements:   
  • Must be able to lift 45 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by lifting, walking, bending, twisting, and carrying materials.
  • Ability to work 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday with the occasional overtime and Saturdays.
