Position Summary:    
Tuuci is seeking an experienced New York-based Sales Representative to drive regional contract sales, primarily through the hospitality Architectural and Design community. Reporting to the Miami-based Regional Sales Director, the Regional Sales Representative is responsible for Tuuci sales to all commercial market segments including hospitality, multi-family, F&B, institutional, and corporate throughout the tri-state region (NY/NJ/CT).  
Through successful prospecting, relationship management and understanding of Tucci’s role in the client’s business, the Regional Sales Representative will work to target areas of opportunity and growth with each client partner in the assigned territory. This position works closely with the Miami-based internal sales team (Regional Sales Director and Account Manager) to support contract/hospitality designers and architects, procurement companies, office furniture dealers, and contract customers. With this understanding, the Regional Sales Representative will serve as the primary point of contact, owning each project and specification throughout the sales cycle.  
 
The Regional Sales Representative must consistently provide excellent service and sales expertise to existing Tuuci customers, serve as a consultant to specifiers and represent the client’s needs and goals within the Tuuci organization to ensure we exceed client expectations while achieving revenue goals and increasing market share in the territory.  
  
Location: This position is based in NYC and includes the NY/NJ/CT territory  
  
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:   
  • Grow Tuuci brand in distribution channels, including specifiers for design and architectural firms, procurement companies, and corporate management organizations
  • Train, develop and manage independent sales representatives
  • Takes initiative and responsibility to own the relationship with clients and prospects
  • Develop, execute, and drive revenue strategies for regional growth and new business
  • Build connections with key contacts and decision makers
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the various segments of the business
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product development and engineering teams to ensure successful solutions for customer issues
  • Develop strong product knowledge and understand Tuuci brand development
  • Experience in Salesforce is preferred
  • Ability to travel regularly
  
Education and Qualifications:  
We prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in sales or procurement within a related industry is preferred. Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and time management skills. The best candidates are resourceful, well organized and detail oriented.  
  
  • 4-year college graduate or equivalent experience
  • Design, furniture, FF&E, or luxury brand experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- written and verbal
  • Ability to use independent judgement with a high level of initiative
  • Creative thinker, self-starter, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, including time management
  • High energy level, comfortable managing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to conduct in-person/virtual presentations, product training, etc.
  • Ability to interact effectively within sales team and with other departments with team player mentality
  • Experience with customer service or sales support is preferred
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in database management (Salesforce, CSI) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel for tradeshows/events, regional client visits, and quarterly visits to Tuuci HQ in Miami FL
