Position Summary:
Tuuci is seeking a Miami-based Sales Representative to drive regional contract sales, primarily through our extensive installed base in the local hospitality, restaurant, and multi-family customer segments. Reporting the Southeast Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for Tuuci sales to all contract end users in Miami-Dade County and the Florida Keys.
Through successful prospecting, relationship management and understanding of Tuuci’s role in the client’s business, the Sales Representative will work to target areas of opportunity and growth with each client partner in the assigned territory. This position works closely with the Miami-based sales team (Regional Sales Manager and Account Manager) to support the local market. With this understanding, the Sales Representative will serve as the primary point of contact, owning each project and specification throughout the sales cycle.
The Sales Representative must consistently provide excellent service and sales expertise to existing Tuuci customers, serve as a consultant to specifiers and represent the client’s needs and goals within the Tuuci organization to ensure we exceed client expectations while achieving revenue goals and increasing market share in the territory.
Location: This position is based in Miami, FL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive direct sales for Tuuci brands, targeting key markets such as hotel chains, and restaurants
- Take ownership of client relationships, proactively managing both existing and prospective accounts
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product development, and engineering to address customer challenges and deliver effective solutions
- Gain comprehensive product knowledge and contribute to the evolution of the Tuuci brand
- Willingness to travel locally on a weekly basis
Education and Qualifications:
We prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in sales or procurement within a related industry is preferred. Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and time management skills. The best candidates are resourceful, well organized and detail oriented.
- 4-year college graduate or equivalent experience
- B2B sales experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to use independent judgment with a high level of initiative
- High energy level, comfortable managing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to conduct in-person/virtual presentations, product training, etc.
- Ability to interact effectively within sales team and with other departments with team player mentality
- Experience with customer service or sales support is preferred
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in database management (Salesforce, CSI) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
