Cylindrical Grind Operator (TINC-MFG) - 1st Shift

Description

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for operation and measurements of parts going through OD/ID grind machines, ensuring machines run smoothly, and providing accurate measurements for processing.

Come Build with Us:

  • Perform operation of cylindrical grind machines and the loading and unloading of product.
  • Ensure measurements are accurate within appropriate grinding tolerances.
  • Ensure proper selection of programs and tooling during production; promptly escalate program defects or shortcomings to engineering.
  • Be alert to any changes in machine performance and operation; promptly report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Perform daily maintenance on machines; verify oil levels, coolant levels, and filtration systems.
  • Support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe. Report all hazards or incidents to supervisor.
  • Coordinate with other team members for usage of shared shop equipment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Bring Your Expertise:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience running CNC lathes and mills preferred.
  • Proficient in basic shop math. Proficient in blueprint reading.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects while keeping details of each project clear.
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours and break times.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to seek out additional work when time is available.
  • Requires lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.
