Machine Operator (TAE) - Aerospace - 2nd Shift
Description
Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for setting up, utilizing, and operating assigned lathe, mill, and/or balance CNC machines and supporting machine procedures for the prototyping and production of machined parts.

- Performing set-up, operation, and accomplish precise alignment of assigned lathe, mill, and balance machines to extremely close tolerances.
- Accurately perform and document operations and inspections as stated in the Quality Manual.
- Recognizing deviations in proper machine performance; trouble-shoot and implement corrective actions.
- Working from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products.
- Performing preventative maintenance and diagnostics on assigned machines.
- Working in a fast-paced, high volume team environment.
- Supporting and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.
- Demonstrating reliability, dependability, and safety-oriented work.
- Performing other duties as required based on assignment.
Bring Your Expertise:
- You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- If you have experience in a manufacturing/production environment or running CNC machines, GREAT! But if not, you have a can-do attitude, serious ownership, and a thirst for learning.
- Knowledge of measuring equipment and good math skills will go a long way. You must be thorough and able to follow instructions carefully.
- You embrace creativity, but are always looking to understand the how and why first.
- You value teamwork and have good interpersonal communication and organization skills. You keep it professional, but can also have a good laugh.
- You have a high level of integrity and want to make a difference!
This position does require occasional lifting, carrying of 25-50 pounds or more and standing for extended periods of time. This role involved moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.
