Description

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for ensuring that the company's digital assets are protected. This includes securing both cloud and on-premise infrastructures, examining metrics and data to filter out suspicious activity, as well as finding and mitigating risks and threats before breaches occur. Responsible for keeping the company's security systems up to date and creating documentation and planning for all security-related information, including incident response.

  • Monitoring security access and making recommendations for necessary changes for a more secure network.
  • Conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis. Perform internal and external security audits.
  • Evaluating new security software and solutions to adapt to the rapidly changing threat landscape
  • Responding to SOC and internal security system alerts, investigating and taking action as necessary
  • Working with IT teams to implement recommended vulnerability mitigations
  • Overseeing training programs and modules to educate employees and users on proper security protocols. 
  • Analyzing security breaches to identify root cause; research and make recommendations for improvements. Implement agreed upon changes.
  • Continuously updating the company’s incident response plan and documented security policies.
  • Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborate with them to meet security requirements
  • Ensuring security practices are aligning with regulatory compliance requirements and customer agreements.
  • Maintaining constant awareness of current threat intelligence through feeds and other standard industry avenues
  • Performing other duties as necessary.
Bring Your Expertise:
  • High School or GED equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity or an educational equivalent.
  • Experience working with information security or other relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of penetration testing, network security, and the techniques used to expose and correct security flaws.
  • Broad understanding of security technologies including firewalls, SIEM, anti-malware software, IDP systems.
  • Thorough understanding of Windows servers, protocols and client operating systems.
  • The ability to identify and spotlight vulnerabilities on on-premises and remote networks, correct problems, and prevent security breaches.
  • Responsibility and conscientiousness, including proper management of patches to defray business impact while keeping security protocols up-to-date.
  • The ability to think critically and innovatively about the security solutions that can keep data safe while still allowing a business to flourish.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate policies and instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as team member.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. in a safe manner.
