Machine Operator (TAPS) – 1st Shift

Description

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for set up, utilizing, and operating assigned lathe, mill, and/or balance CNC machines and supporting machine procedures for the prototyping and production of machined parts.
This position starts at $21/hour!
Come Build with Us by:
  • Performing set-up and operation of assigned lathe, mill and/or balance machines
  • Performing in process measurements using micrometer, dial indicator, and calipers.
  • Adjusting machining process based on results of inspection to ensure parts meet specification
  • Working from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products.
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance for CNC equipment.
  • Working in a fast-paced, high volume team environment.
  • Supporting and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.
  • Demonstrating reliability, dependability, and safety-oriented work.
Bring Your Expertise:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred. 
  • Experience running CNC machines (lathe, mill and balance) helpful.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired.
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment helpful.
  • Good math skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
