Job Summary
GUS Education Arizona is seeking a hands on Campus Manager to lead daily operations, drive student success, and build employer partnerships for Avila University Arizona. The ideal candidate has solid higher education experience, strong leadership skills, and familiarity with Arizona HR policies.
The Campus Manager will work closely with GUS and Avila University stakeholders to ensure the campus operates effectively and meets institutional goals.

Campus Operations & Administration
- Oversee all on‑site activities: facilities, security, maintenance, and compliance, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Ensure adherence to Arizona HR standards and state regulations.
Student Experience & Success
- Act as the main on‑site liaison for students: offering responsive support, resolving escalations, and championing an exceptional campus experience.
- Collaborate with Academic Affairs and Student Services to deliver impactful orientation, retention, and advising initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to monitor campus metrics, identify trends, address challenges, and implement strategies to positively impact and boost student outcomes.
Employer and Partnership Development
- Identify and cultivate relationships with local employers to create internship and job pathways.
- Negotiate and maintain MOUs and partnership agreements.
- Organize engaging employer events, career fairs, and guest lectures.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team across admissions, student support, and administrative staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Lead staff meetings, goal-setting sessions, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives.
- Work in partnership with senior leadership to align campus operations with objectives, including budgeting, enrollment targets, and strategic planning.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of higher education operations or campus management experience.
- Knowledge of Arizona HR policies and higher education regulations.
- Proven track record of building and sustaining employer partnerships.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Master’s in Higher Education Leadership or Organizational Management.
- Experience with adult learners in career focused programs.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and student information systems.
- Established network of Phoenix area employers in healthcare, technology, or business.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong operational management skills.
- Strong planning and organizational growth capabilities.
- Ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of market analysis and revenue generation strategies.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
This position will initially work hybrid/remote, with the expectation of moving to 4 to 5 days per week on-site as the development of the campus allows.
