Responsibilities
- Deliver well-prepared ESL classes in accordance with the prescribed syllabus and guidelines.
- Apply the communicative and lexical approaches using guided discovery and task-based learning methodologies.
- Monitor students' progress tracker to measure their progress effectively.
- Assign and review homework, offering substantial feedback to students.
- Conduct assessments and tests and offer tutorials when necessary.
- Actively engage in the school's social program.
- Contribute to the school's advancement by attending meetings, introducing new initiatives, and offering constructive input towards improvement.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in ESL teaching methodologies, including lesson planning, curriculum development, and assessment strategies.
- Ability to multitask, guide, and adapt teaching techniques and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and student needs.
- Dedication to continuous professional development, staying updated with best practices, trends, and resources.
- Strong work ethics, accountability, integrity, and respect.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, linguistics, pedagogy, or equivalent as assessed by WES/ICAS.
- TESL/CELTA certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of ESL teaching experience, preferably with adults.
Working Conditions:
Monday to Friday- 7 am to 9.30 pm EST.
Work remotely/ in person as required.
