Primary Purpose

The Business Development Coordinator is mainly responsible for helping the Business Developers deal with the prospective student admission process via account management functions of educational representatives of the students themselves. These stakeholders are commonly referred to as ‘agents’.

In addition, the BDC will be responsible for the Direct Sales team’s performance recording. This will include a weekly update of the Sales Tracker sheet. The BDC will be responsible for reporting to the Director of Business Development and supporting management in regard to the recruitment pipeline and performance.

Responsibilities  
  • Communicating directly between agents and TSoM Administrative departments on behalf of Business Development Managers.
  • Process BDs’ applications on Salesforce
  • Liaising with the Admissions department for students’ admission process
  • Exporting, conducting and updating reports on Excel (Pipeline, deposit report, etc.)
  • Compiling presentations on PPT for management meetings
  • Prepare, assist and deliver in Salesforce and Excel presentations/reports
  • Liaising between the BDs, Admissions, and agents
  • Handling of CLOAs/LOAs, Invoices, and Receipts with the Admissions and Finance team
  • Process any changes related to program, intake, tuition, and other relevant information for agents’ students that have already applied/ or been admitted
  • Liaise with the language school teams
  • Speaking tests, LOA for Fast Track, and LOAs for General English programs, Invoices, etc. Process changes on Start date, program length, etc.
  • Help draft Agent Contracts as well as the Renewals in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with Finance Agent’s commission payments
  • Assist in training new BDs on Salesforce processes
  • Provide management with relevant data
  • Administer agent accounts and produce reports on their performance in response to management accounts
  • Assist with campus tours for any Agency representatives visiting TSoM 

Education and Experience

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Minimum of a diploma or equivalent
  • Great knowledge of the industry in terms of the agent-institution relationship
  • Displayed fantastic customer services skills
  • Exhibited excellent communication skills
