We are currently looking for a talented, highly motivated Senior Automation Engineer to grow our Product Engineering Software Quality Assurance and Test Team in Denver.
 
The Senior Automation Engineer designs, develops, executes and maintains automated tests for security software products ranging from managed security to vulnerability detection products.    

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements and manual test cases for automation
  • Design and develop automated tests with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG and Java
  • Execute automated tests
  • Configure Jenkins jobs to run automated tests
  • Document automated test results and keep status up to date
  • Troubleshoot automated test failures, report failures and create defects as required
  • Work closely with manual testers
  • Work with development teams
  • Mentoring automation test engineers
  • Experience in functional, integration and acceptance/workflow testing
  • Promote existing SDLC process, procedures and/or methodologies

Desired Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in a related role with mid to large-sized companies and has demonstrated the following:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of manual testing and test case design
  • 3-5 years Java development experience (or other object-oriented language)
  • Software/automated test design experience
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or JMeter
  • Experience with Postman a plus
  • Experience with an IDE (IntelliJ preferred)
  • Experience with at least one Software Configuration Management/version control system (Git preferred)
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Experience with Automated Testing frameworks with Selenium, preferably with Java and TestNG
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills together with demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Extensive test and troubleshooting experience in a test environment with a demonstrated understanding of product delivery life cycles
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a changing environment
  • Familiarity with JIRA
  • Ability to work with distributed teams in a fast-paced iterative development process
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize many projects and problems independently, as they arise
  • Willingness to occasionally work scheduled night/weekend times, and to participate in off-hours on-call schedule
  • Occasional overnight travel to other Trustwave offices, domestic and international, may be required

Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
