A Cloud and Endpoint Security Analyst is a member of the Global Advanced Security Operations Center (ASOC) platform support team for Enterprise Customer Care, our managed security services practice. They will manage and maintain Cloud and Endpoint security, using agile, competitive-edge systems to protect data, support regulatory compliance and protect customers' privacy.

A Cloud and Endpoint Security Analyst will perform the following duties:

  • Configure, manage, and upgrade the Managed Detection and Response (MDRe) systems on customer servers and endpoints.
  • Implement security rules and whitelists/blacklists to maintain the security posture of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Adhere to corporate and customer security policies.
  • Interface with a variety of customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner.
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services.
  • Be available, ready, and able to promptly handle incoming support calls in support of our contractual customer SLA’s.
  • Document actions in tickets to effectively communicate information internally and to customers.
  • Respond to needs and questions of customers concerning their access to network resources through their managed service.
  • Resolve problems independently and follow documented escalation procedures.

 

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

Must have intermediate skills/knowledge in some of the following:

  • Network security concepts & Information security best practices
  • Unix / Linux operating systems
  • TCP/IP networking
  • Windows OS
  • Palo Alto security products
  • AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
  • 1 or more years of information security or networking experience
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • English: written and verbal fluency required.
  • Shift Flexibility is a MUST, Monday-Friday and some weekends.

 

Preferred:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Information Security or Networking
  • Preferred candidates will have one or more certifications in Security/Networking including Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP or other security specific vendor/productcertifications

 

Education:

We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
