Based in our London headquarters, the Director, EMEA Sales Operations will build, evangelize, and deliver a world-class sales and Third Party Product operations function.  The Director, EMEA Sales Operations will report to the Vice President, Worldwide Sales Operations to drive growth initiatives while executing on the company’s sales methodology, processes and productivity tools. 

The Director, EMEA Sales Operations is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of sales operations including designing, tracking and communicating key sales performance metrics. This role is also responsible for developing and operating the processes required to enable Trustwave work effectively with Third Party Product partners. Sales Operations will work closely with our senior leadership team and regional sales leaders to drive sales effectiveness and assure best practices adhere to all company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, implementation and governance of the sales process across EMEA sales
  • Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization.
  • Global operational planning such as executing key initiatives and programs, territory/segment planning and quota assignment
  • Partner with sales leadership and Director of strategic planning to drive growth initiatives
  • Define, report and deliver key performance metrics
  • Utilizing and implementing comprehensive pipeline reports to track opportunities, pipeline conversion and win/loss assessments in a consistent global methodology
  • Ensuring compliance and enforcement of core controls such as discounting, booking process and renewal process
  • Driving the roll-out and adoption of the sales methodology, processes and tools that support the selling process and improvement of customer experience
  • Manage and assure compliance with sales operations budget and financial obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to monitor, report and improve processes

Qualifications:

  • Expert-level experience in sales leadership and global sales operations for a commercial technology services organization
  • Energetic problem solver, collaborator and internal relationship builder. Able to represent the sales organization across other departments, such as marketing, human resources, legal and Finance
  • Able to meet all priorities and deliverables within a matrixed organizational structure
  • Highly articulate with ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures, policies and recommend resulting sales actions
  • Ability to balance priorities of managing and inspiring teams of people, projects of varying complexity, and the daily operations of the business while maintaining focus on the work that is most critical to success
  • Highly developed executive presence with strong collaboration skills; able to articulate a value proposition and secure buy-in and support from senior executive leadership, peers, and staff
  • Hands on experience working with Salesforce, marketing automation software and other sales/marketing tools
  • Highly adept at successfully navigating and managing change
  • Strong understanding of contract and commercial structures and content for direct and indirect channels
  • Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, related discipline required. Masters of Business Administration is highly preferred.
