We have a newly created position in our Global team for a Senior Financial Billing Analyst.  This Senior position will work cross-functionally between revenue & receivables & global sales teams, as well as other various Trustwave departments. Candidates for this position should be ambitious, outgoing and interested in learning & excelling in this commercial role. 


Responsibilities:

  • Review complex contract terms & approve deals and invoices daily.
  • Mentor & develop financial analysts to ensure complete & accurate billing occurs for our global customers.
  • Process, verify, balance, and adjust complex billing transactions accurately and in a timely manner requiring the use of independent judgement.
  • Perform complex contract & account reconciliations.
  • Work with Customers, Sales & Revenue where services & billing may change mid contract
  • Management of Customer Relations mailbox daily & drive issue resolutions.
  • Manage the most involved product offering through proper review and interpretation of contracts to comply with GAAP and regulation over multi-element arrangements.
  • Direct impact on top line financial results through optimization and analysis of billing trends.
  • Communicate directly with external and internal auditors concerning area of ownership.
  • Perform monthly/quarterly accounting close duties, including account reconciliations, and analysis over deferred revenue to identify unbilled AR as well as over/understated revenue.
  • Assist Revenue Managers and the Financial Planning & Analysis team with analysis related to billing projections including current and probable bookings.
  • Ability to adapt within an evolving environment and high growth industry.
  • Assist with the implementation of system enhancements and new process innovations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, accounting qualifications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in related role or industry.
  • Demonstrates strong working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and prioritization skills.
  • Flexibility with start times during the week
  • Thrives on constant improvement and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
  • Desire to work within a fun and dynamic culture.
  • Ability to adapt within an evolving environment and high growth industry.
  • Excellent teamwork, including the ability to interact with all organization levels.


Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
