We are currently looking for a talented, highly motivated Software Test Engineer to grow Trustwave's Product Engineering Team in Netanya, Israel.

The Software Testing Engineer must combine excellent interpersonal communication skills, analytical abilities, and a “broad-picture” view with high attention to details.

As part of the QA group, the Test Engineer will lead or own the definition of test plans. This will require interaction with both the Development and Product Management teams, as well as require system analysis and breakdown.

General Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in system analysis or test definition and planning
  • Knowledge in O.O. Languages (such as C++, Java, Python)
  • Knowledge in automation & web technologies
  • Proven experience in writing STP and STD documents
  • BSc in Computer Science or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience

 

In addition, the following would be an advantage

  • System Analysis course certificate 
  • Background in Security
  • Background in testing web applications or network management tools
  • Experience in analyzing core files, running Wireshark, Linux, Amazon, VMWare
  • An understanding of networking systems including HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, Ethernet, IPv4 and IPv6, Internet technologies in general and other TCP/IP based protocols such as SNMP

Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
