]Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly close process, review of journal entries, account reconciliations, calculation of accruals, intercompany transactions, and consolidations.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting including financial statements, footnotes, and cash flow preparation.
  • Review and analyze monthly Balance Sheet and P&L transactions and variances.
  • Oversee the treasury process and communicate treasury reporting to upper management.
  • Assists in ensuring the development and maintenance of effective internal controls and processes to assure safeguarding of assets and reliability of financial statements.
  • Manage & mentor 2 accountants to ensure their tasks are completed timely and properly.
  • Assist the Accounting Director & Controller with technical accounting guidance, research, and direction for accounting issues and new GAAP/IFRS pronouncements.
  • Ensure Prepaids, Inventory, Fixed Asset, & Capital lease transactions are appropriately accounted for and reconcile sub ledgers to general ledger.
  • Ensure Capitalized Software transactions are appropriately accounted for and reconciled to general ledger.
  • Review global intercompany account reconciliations and coordinate with regional accounting groups to resolve discrepancies.
  • Responsible for professional development of personnel within the finance department.
  • Work with Payroll to properly review payroll and benefits journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Research discrepancies and provide resolution in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of schedules required by our external auditors and used to prepare tax filings.
  • Will work closely with other team members, including Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Tax, Logistics, FP&A and Revenue
  • Assist with ad hoc and internal management requests.
Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with a strong background in public accounting preferred.
  • CPA
  • Professional corporate accounting experience required.
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid MS Office skills and experience with financial systems


Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
