Trustwave, a leader in cloud-based compliance and information security solutions, is seeking a Marketing Campaign and Program Specialist to join Trustwave's Marketing Team in Chicago.

As a Marketing Campaign & Program Specialist, reporting to the Marketing Automation and Analytics Manager, you will collaborate primarily with marketing and internal resources to help execute marketing and demand generation programs that result in lead generation, pipeline creation, drive customer retention and support the sales team efforts for incremental revenue opportunities. You will help communicate Trustwave's brand values, messaging and product developments as you successfully contribute to these initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of Global marketing campaigns and programs including email communications, webinars, events, digital marketing, direct mailers, web order forms and calling campaigns.
  • Involvement in content development, copyrighting and proofreading based on challenges/solutions and business type to support marketing initiatives.
  • Own the building of and deployment of marketing initiatives through Marketo.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and sales operations (CRM) leadership to drive data and process optimizations for both Salesforce.com and Marketo.
  • Help support the marketing automation process, ensuring that the proper elements are included in each campaign so that prospect and customer engagement is accurately tracked.
  • Respond and resolve inbound user case requests. Identify and rectify day-to-day data quality issues within the operational processes. Identify trends and suggest long term solutions.
  • Focus on improving follow-through, effectiveness and performance of marketing initiatives through testing within campaigns and programs and reporting results/solutions.
  • Provide regular reporting that provides metrics and results of marketing performance that is in line with our overall marketing KPIs.
  • Support creating and updating standard marketing operating procedures and identifying process improvements.
  • Communicate with internal expert resources (product marketing, product management, SpiderLabs, etc.) to help drive accurate information and expert guidance.
  • Responsible for keeping the marketing calendars up-to-date with related email campaigns and webinars.
  • Maintain programs and campaigns within Marketo to ensure accuracy of data and related records.
  • Assist with other demand gen marketing activities as needed including lead management, data cleanup, team training and campaign analytics.


Education and Experience Required:

  • BS Marketing or related field
  • 2-3 years marketing experience (security/technology industry strongly preferred)


Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics, and tools.
  • Basic knowledge of campaign/demand generation/go to market strategies.
  • Experience creating detailed reports/dashboards/sales pipeline reports and analysis.
  • 2-3 years Salesforce.com experience.
  • 2+ years experience with email marketing, with direct experience in Marketo.
  • Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong team player with ability to participate in cross-functional teams and interact virtually.
  • Excellent influencing, problem-solving and consensus-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.


Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
